Project: Test Work – Landing Page Design

Overview

Parcrest, a leading M&A advisory firm, needed a professional and engaging landing page that reflects their expertise in guiding business owners and management teams through mergers and acquisitions. As part of a test project, I worked on designing their landing page to demonstrate my design process and capability to deliver high-quality work.

Challenges

  1. Complex Content Structure: Organizing detailed information clearly to ensure easy comprehension.
  2. Establishing Trust: Creating a design that conveys credibility and professionalism.
  3. Action-Oriented Design: Encouraging user engagement through strategically placed calls to action.

My Role

For this test project, I handled the entire landing page design process, including:

  • Wireframing: Creating a layout that prioritizes content clarity and user flow.

Process

  1. Understanding the Brief
    • Reviewed Parcrest’s core services, branding, and target audience to tailor the design effectively.
  2. Wireframing
    • Designed a clean structure that directs users through the page seamlessly.
    • Focused on logical content hierarchy and clarity.
  3. High-Fidelity Design
    • Applied Parcrest's branding (colors, typography, and logo) to ensure a professional and cohesive look.
    • Integrated modern design elements, including ample whitespace and high-quality imagery, to enhance visual appeal.

Key Features of the Design

  • Hero Section: Strong, clear headline, brief introduction, and a CTA for consultation scheduling.
  • Services Overview: Highlighting Parcrest’s value propositions in an easy-to-digest format.
  • Social Proof: Placeholder for testimonials to build credibility and trust.
  • Footer: Organized navigation links and contact information for accessibility.

Outcome

The design was well-received during the test process and showcased my ability to:

  • Translate complex requirements into a streamlined, visually compelling design.
  • Deliver wireframes and high-fidelity designs that align with business goals.
